Circus film premiere of the Cage for Two
On November 28, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., for the first time in history, the National Circus of Ukraine will host the Circus film premiere of the winner of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation competition “CAGE FOR TWO”. (Pre-premiere screening).
The film is based on the life path of outstanding trainers Volodymyr and Lyudmila Shevchenko against the background of the history of the development and transformation of the Ukrainian circus.
The film is based on the monograph of the same name by Serhii Kotelnikov, who is the author of the script. The production director is Lilia Kiricheva, the cinematographer is Krystyna Lizogub, the composer is Serhii Leontiev, the film producer is Olena Driz.
Given the aggravation of the problems of protecting the rights of wild animals in Ukrainian society, the authors of the film will try to investigate what is really humane in the treatment of wild animals in circuses and zoos.
